Meet

Ashton & Gabe

After years spent living a hotel life as touring musicians, proudly wearing the label “starving artists” like a misguided badge of honor, Ashton and Gabe made the decision to pivot to a career that would finally allow their parents to look them in the eye without pity or judgement; Video Production. Out of the ashes of one defunct creative venture, Ghostland Creative rises.

Okay, okay, maybe it wasn’t quite so dramatic.

We’re just two dorks with a passion for storytelling through film, capturing authentic moments and building captivating narrative vignettes for our clients. We may not take ourselves too seriously, but we’ll always take your projects seriously.

Conveniently located between Seattle and Portland, we provide services throughout the Pacific Northwest. Looking outside of the NW? No problem, we love to travel and are ready to go anywhere!

Ashton has been passionate about photography since she first stepped into a darkroom in high school. Her love of photography mixed with an obsession over films and an inclination to document, lead to a natural progression into videography.

Ashton is fueled by travel & roadtripping, watching movies and binging tv, playing video games, baking, playing bass, and picking up new hobbies that are dropped nearly as quickly as they were picked up. Her major in college was anthropology (with a focus on bio anth) and she still carries a strong affinity for bones. She recently discovered a late onset case of loving anime. And on the rare occasion she actually makes time for reading, she enjoys it.

Gabe spent his formative years on the margins of the music industry, writing, producing, and touring. His passion for storytelling pushed him to seek out a more varied medium, inspiring him to put down his guitar and pick up a camera where he quickly developed a healthy(ish) obsession with filmmaking as a way to channel that drive.

He enjoys the sort of things that made him a nerd in high school but now seem kind of hip in retrospect; anime, indie films, emo, & pop psychology.
